The Dial-a-Ride service is a door to door service for those who are unable, or find it difficult, to use public transport such as elderly or disabled people. This includes those eligible people who do not have access to public transport.
The drivers of the vehicles are trained in both first aid and in the assistance of wheelchair users and those with mobility problems.
For further information about the Dial-a-Ride service including information on cost, what areas are covered and what type of journeys the service can be used for, please see this web page where you can also find an application for the Dial-a-Ride service.
The Council’s Half-Fare Bus Pass is also accepted on the Dial-a-Ride service.
