The routes will be way-marked throughout, however it is advised that you familiarise yourself with the route of your chosen ride. A summary of each route is given here together with links to a full written description and interactive map where each route may be viewed in detail.
Family ride (5 miles)
Suitable for confident cyclists of all ages.
The 5 Mile family ride is intended for young families with budding cyclists. Suitable for bike seats, tagalongs, and confident young cyclists, the route is predominantly flat but does consist of uneven ground and includes a steep downhill section at the end where the proper use of brakes is required. If unsure please have your child dismount and walk.
Leisure Ride (25 miles)
Suitable for experienced riders over 16 years of age. Under 18’s to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Don’t be misled; you’ll work up a sweat getting around this 25 mile route. Some beautiful single track sections and exhilarating descents make the effort very worthwhile. A couple of short cuts will be available reducing the route to 18 miles and perhaps more significantly removing two of the climbs.
Endurance Ride (45 miles)
Suitable for fit experienced riders over 18 years of age.
For the experienced mountain biker looking for a full day in the saddle. After completion of the 25 mile route a further 20 miles await the fit and hardy.
