Blewbury WI

Blewbury Women’s Institute meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month at Blewbury Village Hall (temporarily at the Melland Roon, Blewbury Clubhouse during refurbishment) at 7.30 pm. It is open to women of all ages.

As well as the monthly meetings with interesting speakers, we organise trips to the theatre, guided walks, lunches, garden visits and craft workshops.

We always welcome new ideas and suggestions for things to do and places to visit.

Every August we have a Garden Party and every month we have a Coffee Morning, either in a member’s home or at Style Acre Tearoom. We have  informal Mah Jong and Scrabble groups which meet regularly throughout the year.

Full membership (2020) costs £43 which covers entry to monthly meetings and 8 copies of the WI Life lifestyle magazine. This contains articles on current issues, WI campaigns, cookery, crafts, travel and offers.

You don’t have to be a member to come along. Our meetings are open to everyone and we are a very friendly group.

If you would like to join us and want to come along with somebody for the first time, please do not hesitate to call. Look for us on Facebook – Blewbury WI – or on our website where you will find photos of our recent activities.
