To: All Members of the Council

You are hereby summoned to attend a meeting of the Parish Council to be held in the small meeting room at Upton Village Hall on Wednesday 22nd January 2025 at 19.00.

Members of the public and press are welcome to attend. Please inform the Clerk at least 24 hours prior to the start of the meeting as numbers may be restricted.

3.1 To receive representations from members of the public if present.

  1. To approve the minutes of the Parish Council meetings held on 18th December 2024

Note: – Any changes to the minutes need to be agreed by a vote.

  1. Planning

5.1 VWHDC enforcement on VE24/201 (Wattle Farm) update:

To note communication received from a villager who had contacted Principal Planning and Landscape Officer North Wessex Downs National Landscape. The response indicated that the County Planning Office would be responsible for any action.

5.2 To note approval granted on application P24/V2307/HH – amended application for development work at the following location: Lavenda House, Fieldside.

  1. To review village matters:

6.1 To hear considerations for solutions to resolve the salt bin issues. Salt previously delivered is the responsibility of the Parish Council and will not be removed by OCC. Orders need to be in by Sept for delivery.

6.2 To agree further considerations for a lengthman

6.3 To agree action for appointing survey implementor – further quotes have not materialised

6.4 To further plans for implementing closing the Recreation Ground gates

i. policy proposed to be discussed

ii. consideration for emergency services access if gates closed
