St Mary’s church would like to say a huge thank you to the people who turned out to help at the two working parties held recently to clear the grave yard.
We were so lucky that on both Saturdays the weather was really kind and the wind was blowing in the right direction for a good bonfire. I think everyone who visits the cemetry over the Christmas period, or even walks past with their dog, will appreciate how very tidy and cared for it now looks. We are truly grateful to those who grafted with such enthusiasm to restore the grave yard to a place to be proud of.
