Call My Bluff
Wednesday 21st February, 8pm, Village Hall
For the February meeting we thought we would do something a little different – a ‘Call My Bluff’ evening. The idea is similar to the classic radio and TV game but with wines rather than words. There will be a panel of 3 describing each of the 8 wines and it will be up to you to decide who is telling the truth and who is bluffing. Teams will consist of 4 or 5 members (there is no need to prearrange teams, just sit at a table as usual) and there will be a small prize for the winning team.
The price of this event is only £5 per member. Hopefully you are able to attend this meeting so please apply by Monday 12th February. Please don’t forget to pre-book your place as unfortunately we cannot accept bookings on the night.
Another couple of items this month. An upfront warning that the March meeting will be on the second and not third Wednesday of the month so will be on 14th March. Also unfortunately we are to lose Sarah, our Treasurer, as she is moving to pastures new. Firstly I would like to thank her for all her hard work and then ask for a volunteer to join the committee. We have managed to co-opt an existing member to take on the role as Treasurer but need another pair of hands to help organise and run the events. Please could any volunteers get in touch with the committee.
