Oxfordshire Artsweeks

May 7, 2007

Joan Durbin will open her studio to the public with an exhibition of paintings during Oxfordshire Artweeks.

The subject of Joan’s paintings is usually the landscape. She continues to find inspiration from Upton old railway track, with the changing seasons and flora.

Wales has also stimulated new work, particularly the mountain Cadair Idris. A new direction for her is a more abstract approach to the City series, where the depiction of space and light is still her main interest.
