A very successful village litter pick was held on 15th March.
A big thank you to all those who came along to help out with this years litter pick, for once the weather was fine and warm. We had 30 pickers turn up aged from 4 to 74 and also received apologies from 14 others unable to make that morning. Such a response from our small village is fantastic and would be the envy of every other parish in the Vale. We managed to find the normal 40 sacks of rubbish with a small increase in the number of Vodka bottles from 83 to 100. 98% of the rubbish was picked up from the side of the roads that run through our village, what a sad indictment of today’s road users.
