Open Gardens in support of the Upton Village Hall Fund.
It is intended to open our gardens to the public from 2.00pm to 6.00pm, on 29th June 2008.
At the moment we are asking for plant pots, so we can have a creditable presentation of plants for sale; currently anticipated about three or four plant stalls. Also any offers of help would be gratefully received.
There should be 12 gardens open, plus the Church, where we had displays and themes set out. The help required would be with posters etc., and on the day – teas, parking, in the gardens and around the village and finally “end of day†clear-up. It is a very good opportunity for the village to work together on this valuable asset.
If you can help – please contact Sarah Sayers, who is co-ordinating our efforts again…
Very many thanks
Sarah.
