The village said thank you to our Post Mistress on June 12th.
| Malcolm Wright, on behalf of many villagers, presented Margaret Maytham with National Garden tokens and a gift voucher for the Sweet Olive restaurant in appreciation of her 13 years service to the community following the closure of the Post Office. Irene Timblick kindly hosted drinks and nibbles and over 40 people enjoyed a very pleasant evening, though of course tinged with much sadness at the end of another era. |  |
