December is upon us! We will all be busy with card writing, present buying and Christmas festivities. But, all new members will be very welcome to join us at the following events in December. I would like to wish everyone a joyous Christmas time and a happy, healthy 2018.

Tuesday, 5th December at 10.00 am – Lyn’s Walk. Leave from the Village Hall for a local walk/stroll, weather dependent.
Wednesday, 6th December at 7.30pm – Scrabble at Graeme’s. Please phone first.
Friday, 8th December at 1.30pm – Talking Science lecture at RAL Harwell. Building a time machine: The engineering of the James Webb Space Telescope and its Mid-Infra Red Instrument. Paul Eccleston.
Monday, 11th December at 12.30pm. – WI Christmas Lunch at the Red Lion.
Monday, 18th December at 10.30am. – Coffee and mince pies at Maggie’s.
Every Monday (except the 25th) at 2.30pm – MahJong
