Let me introduce myself,
I am Sarah and I’m sure a few of you have seen me in the post office as I
have been working there over the summer. Sadly I still haven’t officially
taken over the post office but we are hopeful it won’t be too much longer.
We have started operating our new opening hours. These will be:
Monday – 9am till 3pm
Tuesday – 8.30am till 12pm, 2.30pm till 5pm Wednesday – 9am till 3pm
Thursday – 9am till 3pm Friday – 8.30am till 12pm, 2.30pm till 5pm
In other news, the cost of a 1st class Stamp will be increasing from the 2nd
of October so buy any books you need before then. Overseas surface Mail
deadline is the end of October for delivery in time for Christmas.
Old £20 and £50 notes will be obsolete from the end of September but you
are able to come in to the post office and bank them.
New Shirley Bassey and Paddington Bear stamps are in and Harry Potter
stamps are coming soon.
